- Nozzle turns blue when chemical is at a cold temperature [below 60°F (16°C)]. - Optimum spraying temperature is between 70°F and 85°F (21°C and 30°C). - Nozzle is blue when left in cold conditions. It will return to clear when spraying chemical at optimum chemical temperature. - Provides a visual indication at the point of spraying, that the chemical is too cold. STOP spraying. Warm chemical to recommended temperature. - When the nozzle is transparent, the chemical is at acceptable temperature range and is OK to spray. - Fan spray pattern nozzles, but can easily change to a cone spray pattern with the snap of the tip of the nozzle.
